Star Trek - Enterprise: Temporal Cold War A HL2 Modification!
As its name implies, this Half-Life 2 “total conversion” is based on the fifth installment of the Star Trek saga, Enterprise. Our goal is to create a quality sci-fi mod which would satisfy the greatest possible spectrum of gamers, whether they are casual players or veteran FPS-warriors, and whether they are Star Trek fans, or just general sci-fi lovers. Our other main intention is to pay homage to the cast and crew of the fantastic (and prematurely cancelled) TV-show on which the modification is based. Therefore, we will try to re-create the milieu of the series as faithfully as possible. All the main characters of the show will appear in the game, while the spaceship in title-role (the Enterprise NX-01), will be built for total exploration.
The game-play will contain both action-packed and adventurous elements, creating a largely diversified gaming experience in this way. There will be situations where using your gun is the only way to succeed, but besides combat operations, peaceful problem-solving missions like diplomatic assignments and engineering tasks will also be present. We will not try to copy such Star Trek FPS games as Elite Force 1 & 2. On the other hand, we will deeply involve you in the storyline where certain decisions will inevitably cause huge changes in the fabric of the space-time continuum – and this way, in the maps.

---ST:E-TCW MEDIA RELEASE 18---
It has been a long time since we gave you a report about the status of the mod - the last media update was released two months ago. We do not want to bore you with the reasons, let's just state that real-life interferences delayed our progress to a degree which made the release of our 18th Media Update impossible.
But finally, it arrived.
In the recent Media Release we would like to feature some of the mod's main characters in their current (still Work-In-Progress) state. But enough of words, let the pictures talk:
We would also like to show you the latest concept art of our very talented Flanker: the Guardsman-class destroyer. The ship herself has been developed after the Xindi-conflict, and is used by the human law enforcement agencies in most colonies of the Solar System. The strong hull-plating, agility and weaponry makes the Guardsman Heavy Destroyer one of the best military vessels of the 2150s - and a perfect sidekick of the Enterprise.
And finally, here is a new video, made by CaptainSource. This features the current state of our drydock-map along with the Main Menu Theme, composed by Basstronix. A new DivX codec is highly recommended to download before watching the video.
